How to run a weekly review in 30 minutes
A weekly review isn't a performance audit. It's a reset — a chance to see what happened, adjust, and choose what's next without carrying silent baggage into Monday.
Here's a simple 30-minute ritual that works inside Pathflow.

1. Clear the inbox (5 min)
Open Inbox. For each item: delete, defer, or clarify into a next action with a project. Don't organize the whole life — just get to inbox zero or "inbox honest." Our inbox-to-today guide walks through the clarify step.
2. Scan last week (5 min)
Open Work log and Daily review notes. Ask:
- What did I finish that I'm proud of?
- What kept slipping?
- Any surprises (good or bad)?
Jot one sentence in a daily note if something needs context for future you.
3. Check goals (10 min)
Open Goals. For each active goal:
- Did linked tasks or habits move progress?
- Is the goal still right, or should it pause?
- What's the one next action for the coming week?
Use the GPS method to reconnect goals, plans, and systems. Update progress honestly. A slider at 40% with a clear next step beats pretending you're at 90%.
4. Plan the calendar (5 min)
Look at Calendar and Tomorrow. Move immovable commitments first. Leave whitespace — a packed week breaks on Wednesday.
5. Pick three priorities (5 min)
Choose three outcomes for next week, not thirty tasks. Put the most important on Today for Monday morning. Consider one focus task for deep work blocks.
Keep it calm
If you only have 15 minutes, do steps 1 and 3. Consistency beats completeness.
Pathflow's weekly review prompts walk through life areas — work, health, finance, relationships, growth — so nothing important lives only in your head.
Try the review flow — it takes less setup than you think.
